Free alternative to Microsoft Office and Corel Wordperfect and is in my opinion better than either word processor.

Oh and you can use add-ons like Firefox and add all kinds of cool extensions to it.

I use Openoffice all the time (I write) and I like it a lot better than MS Word...

Corel Word Perfect just plain sucks

Abiword is pretty good if you're just looking for a standalone word processor...
