Empathy

Empathy is a special utility allowing you to password-protect any executable file. Empathy can modify an EXE file so that it will require a password to run. Only a person knowing the password will be allowed to run the protected program.

Protected files stay protected if you copy them to another location or even to another computer, no matter which operating system do they use.

Empathy allows you to protect potentially dangerous programs against running by an unauthorized person. You can use it to protect executable files in public places like schools, internet coffees or even homes.

Supported operating systems

Protected files can be run under Windows NT 3.51, Windows NT 4, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista, Windows 95, Windows 98 and Windows Me.

LOL, well, you didn't ask that....

It's already part of your computer. You can set any folder to private if you want. That way other with other accounts on the same computer can not view them if they are set to non-admin accounts or limited accounts.

Which is the proper way to set your PC up for other users.

For stand alone app's

this is one that's rated good for free

here's a whole list.

Click

and here's some good paid programs for it.

No prob,
and yeah with the Admin one, you still have to set your folders to private tho. Or after you set up other accounts you can still set it up 'per folder' instead of all of them. Just by right clicking the folder you want to set private and then set it.
