I'm trying to make things look better for myself here and i found this layout, however, i know nothing about table line ups, if i need to know that stuff from this page, any recommendations on SIMPLE and easy to understand stuff to learn how to do the background and top pic line up and get those comments centered. also, on 2.0, need to know how to do top pics for those too these, days. any tutorials would be of help, but i need it simple and understandable to read, this is the page i saw that i want to do things like this. but i want the comments centered. help please, need to get things to go this well as i'm looking to get pics done and make them pic links for other websites to be directed too and i really like the way this one is done, if i try to figure it out myself, something always messes up on me. i figured i'd write here first instead of asking for a tutorial on all the stuff on......I don't know, is this mostly table layouts i need to understand with something like this?? http://www.myspace.com/lancekingvox

Hi, Sorry for the delay. Been real tied up last couple days. Plus with Easter so..
No that is just a regular default 1.0 layout. With a few divs and top banner on the top of it. Everything else is just using a break tags and center tags to line up the content like it is.
What exact part do you want to know or help with first or does that answer your question ??
Let us know.

The top pic or banner if that what you are referring to... Needs to be the same size. The pic and the Div it sits in.
By the way. The top banner can not be linked so not sure what u mean. Not if it is a str8 banner using one of myspace divs or tables. Only if you put it in your own Div and use it as a top banner. But yeah cant link if using theirs only if you create your own and it the div itself can not be linked only can have stuff in it linked

to be more specific, i mean the pics they use that have the working links, such as contact, email, etc, etc, those are the pics i mean, i can do a link, but when i used the same size pic they did for contacting, etc, it came out messed up and it was to make my own, i used theirs as a guideline on measurements.

You should not have to resize the pics. You resize the pics themselves in a image program. So how can they be messed up? If you are referring to the div getting messed up that they sit in. Well that is common sense. That is because you have to do the div correctly and also set it a little bigger then the pic so scroll bars do not show up or that nothing else gets thrown out of wack. Your lucky you are talking to me that knows the different issue that may come up regarding such but.. Yeah because i probably already know what you mean and have posted on it and said the answer. Normally people will not help you or ask for more info or pics such as im also about to do but you should of posted examples to begin with Mary or otherwise this is wasting a lot of time with you trying to explain and me trying to guess. So please tell exactly what it is messing up in detail (doesnt have to be long detail just to the point) and also screenshot of before and after when u add the stuff so it shows the stuff messed up so we know what you are talking about. Thanks. This topic could of been answered already as it as just been a waste of your time and ours already by now hun.

No problem. Don't really need before and after tho [i dont think.. but cant remember whats going on so] as if you just NEED to start new and set it up right and have the same look but with right stuff / codes etc... Then will not have the issue's. I will not be in or around for another 2 weeks as im on vaca and about to leave again tomorrow to NC for the rest of vaca. But i can help you when i get back as i don't do nothing not even emails when im on vaca time. Well that is if nobody else has helped you here by then. Ed or Barry or Mike or somebody another member will if they see it i assume. If it's the top banner remember we have a top banner tut here and also a div tut for simple divs i think. That way can put the smaller divs next to or under the bigger banner div.

ok and yup. Plus as said i think. There is tuts on part of this already. On the gfx part you can use your own. Just use with right codes or the default myspace editor with the gfx images urls into the tables or headers or whatever it may be. Thxs i will be trust me. Somebody else will help prob for sure if they don't see me reply by then. I might if have time tonight while im packing right a little tut up with top banner and extra divs codes for the links. Mainly just a div code and then just have to duplicate it for each one or link image you want to add as an extra div just below the top banner div

After you click modify. Its on the bottom left. Then select move. Or dont click modify and its at the very bottom left the this WHOLE main page. Link that say's - 'move topic' [NOTE: Your only allowed to move your own topics.] Which in this case of course it's yours but.. Just saying.
