I'm not gonna lie I've never tried a mac, nor have actually even seen one, until now. I decided I would pirate it, and run it on a virtual machine that way I can see if I like it or not, and well because I was running it on a virtual machine it ended up running slow (I use 1GB of RAM, cause I only have 2GB of DDR2 RAM), and I gotta say it was hard to get a feel of it at first, cause of the GUI, and how the finderbar works, but once I got the feel of it, it's actually a really nice OS. Plus for thoughs that say you can't right click on a mac, their full of bull, but there's really no need to right click on it anyway.

Not to mention I love the GUI, the way the drop shadows are, how everything is put together, and installing software is easy as riding a bike. Plus I had no idea that spotlight did math equations as well. I absolutely loved trying it, but because I'm using it illegally I decided to remove it simply because I wanted to not only give the OS a try, but some of the Mac software a try like GarageBand, and iMovie. However I couldn't run the update on the virtual machine, cause each time I had to reboot I got some weird error (I didn't take a screenshot of it, sorry) So I simply stuck with the software that came with, and some that I downloaded, and tried.

Some of the apps I tried were Pixelmator, which is a really nice image editor, however I still prefer The Gimp. I also gave Neo Office a try, which is a great free alternative to Microsoft Office, and I gave CSSEdit a try Snippet, iPaint, and TextWrangler.

Yeah i love the GUI. It's about the same just different spots and ways to get to things. Takes a sec to get use to it. Sometimes to if a PC user normally... Seems things are a bit of a pain in the ass to open or find or get to but... After awhile get use to it. Still easy but just different. Even tho they say and it's suppose to be more simple to find and get to things.. Once a PC user first. It seems harder and not way simple and easier as they say.

Yeah maybe if you learned on one or use it first but not if other way around. Plus all depends on how you have things set up by default and where things show etc.. Other then that it is a great Os. Really the new snowlep.

Same here! If I ever get enough cash I'm definately getting a mac, no questions asked. I'll be able to develop software for Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X.

iChat is extremely surprising though you can have like 8 people talking at the same time with everyone having a webcam and mic, it's very nice.

Yup..
Yeah i use to have one long time ago. Then had a laptop & PC together and threw me off when needed to be using the other and would switch back & forth lol. Now im going to do the same thing cause i need for different reasons but... Until then and after then going to run a dualboot as well.

Not to mention same reason to for developing etc and all as well. Not Lin though. But been trying and getting big into it and apps & for cells mainly to but with my time frame & always being busy it's hard to really dig into it & finish them up & do the ones i want to cause they are so far indepth etc..
