CLICK the white extension name links at the beginning of each to view and download / install them.


Firefox is one of the most versatile browsers on the web. Why you ask? Firefox has the ability to use extensions, and while other browsers may posses the same ability few others have as many available as does the Firefox browser.


Here are a list of extensions I use or have used or would recommend.


Adblock Plus - Good for blocking annoying ads.

Fasterfox - Improves the loading time on simple but large html websites.

Web Developer Toolbar - Has handy gadgets and tools for web developers.

DownThemAll! - Batch Downloader

InfoLister - Lists all your extensions.

Stop-or-Reload Button - Combines the stop and reload button into one button similar to Opera.

StumbleUpon - Stumble on different web pages with just a  keyword or two.

Fission - Adds a handy progress bar inside the address bar.

Google Toolbar - Has a lot of helpful features like tools to more better search google

IE Tab - Helpful if you're into web design. It let's you see what you're page looks like in IE inside of a  FF tab.

Web Developer Toolbar - Has all kinds of cool gadgets it's very helpful while browsing myspace profiles it let's you temporarily disable css on a page

Greasemonkey - Utilizes scripts and let's you customize any website to look how you want it.

ImageshackToolbar - Handy gadget that let's you upload images to your imageshack account anytime you want without actually going to the website.

Colorful Tabs - It's not exactly the greatest ff extension but when you have a person with whom you have to constantly stand over their shoulder and walk them through everything they do on the internet its nice to be able to say click on the green tab

FoxyTunes - This is one is great. Instead of switching between browser and media player you can manipulate the player through the browser

ColorZilla - A Color Picker that tells you the hexidecimal of any color in your browser window.

Define - Defines a word or phrase

Linkification - Turns a text link into a clickable link

MeasureIt - Allows you to measure things on a webpage.

Resizeable Textarea - Let's you resize any textarea handy for resizing the about me, who i'd like to meet and the group description areas on myspace

StyleSheet Chooser Plus - Turn stylesheets off and on with a single click

Tab To Window - Let's you move a tab to a new window

Tabs Open Relative - Keeps opened tabs near the page they were opened from.

fireFTP - Allows you to access your FTP server from Firefox.

Gtranslate - Online translation tool

ScreenGrab - Allows you to save webpages as images

totalvalidator - Allows you to validate your website
