Ever accidentally Add a word to Firefox Dictionary extension that comes standard with firefox  (right click menu function ) ??

Well here is your fix and tut on how to remove an accidentally add ( when you accidentally hit "add word to dictionary" )

First go to your 'My Computer Folder'

Then select / click on the ( C: ) drive, once that opens then select the top tab called 'tools'

On your tool menu select the 'view'  tab

Then find where it says: 'hidden files and folders' like in the image below and set it to show them all.

Click link ------>> Profile folder locations
for all other file paths depending on what your Operating system is.

The below info is for Windows XP

Once you have that set then go back to your '( C: ) drive'  folder which you should already have open or be at.

And click on your 'Documents and settings' folder, then open your personal profile folder (whatever you have yourself set as or named on your computer )

Then open your 'Application data' folder and find your 'Mozilla' folder

Once you have that open go ahead and open the 'firefox' folder then the 'XXXXX.default' folder ( or whatever your firefox default named profile folder is named )

OK, then look for a file named 'persdict.dat' or just 'persdict'.

Once you find it, then right click on it and select 'open with' and open it with notepad.

UUHHMM, ok there you go, you can either change them to the correct thing or just remove them completely.. I would advise to just remove the incorrect ones completely, once your done editing that file then just make sure to hit the file tab on notepad and select save., and you should all be all good  Grin

.NOTE,
changes will not take effect until you restart FireFox completely.

anyways, thats all folks............

Hope this helps, and good luck with it all.

CYA I'm out........
