Myspace’s New mail system + problems

I assume you all have noticed the new mail system? Well so far so good. I am saying to self "thank god" they added back the spam button on friend request that come through it as they removed it and added a spam box for so called spam to go into. I was thinking to self. "What the hell are they thinking" It would of been a mess and is going to be a mess if they allow spam so to speak, but have it redirected into a spam box. That is just nuts and really when they removed the "report as spam" button when they did that. That would of been the biggest mistake myspace ever made. If that was the case, that would of been the time i said bye bye to myspace for good most likely..lol. Well anyways so how does everybody like it so far ? Pro's and con's please ?? Post them below in a comment. Let see what some thoughts are. You can also post some better idea's you might have and maybe we will send'em over to myspace and see what we can get added as some features if you have any good ideas of bad.. or whatever you have to say. Please keep it clean tho guys. Thxs Also note: Having problems sending mail with there new myspace email system and buttons?? Well This post here is mainly also to help those that can not and have not been able to reply or use the new mail system or inbox and could not reply or use the buttons inside the box. Basically it is most likely because you are using AdBlock plus Firefox extension. This is a little tutorial and tip on how to fix that so you can use your inbox and reply again. AdBlock is actually blocking a couple targeted links / ad codes that is included for some reason in the coding of the new mail system. Well here is how you fix it: 1: Click on the arrow next to the adblock toolbar button to open up the preferences. Looks and see what Filter list you are using by clicking the filter tab, then by clicking add subscription. Look and see which one you are using. For the time being you can just click the arrow next to the main adblock button to disable it and then your mail buttons should work. But now to fix it basically all you have to do if you are using the EasyList(USA) or any of them that are blocking the buttons URL's is to... Go into your inbox. Then click the MAIN adblock button itself and a window will open at bottom of your screen. You will see (should see) a couple links in red. Those are the ones being blocked and that control those buttons in your mail box. At the end of the highlight in red URL you should see where it says ad_wrapper. Just right click that and select "add exception rule for item". Set the exception in your list and you should be good to go. You know can click the arrow next to the adblock plus button and re-enable it and you should be hooked up and good to go now. So all your crazy Ad's should be still blocked now and none showing and you now should be able to use your mailbox buttons again. Note: This is all said and explained for the new mailbox system only. :) That's it folks .. Simple uh? Good luck and happy emailing. lol EDITED: 8-16-09 - Myspace and adblock has seemed to have fix this issue so far in the last day or two. So it may not be needed but we will keep it here just incase. It seems they have removed that certain ad-wrapper link from the blocked lists so should be able to use the new buttons in the new mailbox for now.
